whats up guys, I recently had a borla x pipe installed in my z06 and while I was at the shop recorded most of the install. How I came about choosing borla over corsa and other brands is through the info on this site and the corvette techs recommendation of borla. Even though some of my car buddies feels like it changed the sound too much and lost the muscle tone and changed it to the raspy side of exhaust notes, I enjoy it.
The install was straight forward and pretty quick with the right tools and a lift really helps. I want to say thank you to Josh at Meraki Auto works for the fast delivery(1 day turn around) well here is the video and hope you guys enjoy.
Watch till the end for the before and after sound clip
i started with an x-pipe. Made a big difference. Then I got axle back magnaflows. Made a big difference. Now I have 2in American racing headers with arh xpipe into the magnaflows. The car absolutely screams.

according to GM they are cats. I had several muffler shops validate it. Removing them does not throw any codes as there are not any sensors down stream from them.
Any of you guys doing HPDEs with the xpipe? While I'm sure I'd like more sound on the street, even the stock exhaust gets super loud on track when very hot. Wondering how much louder the xpipe makes things when tracking the car.

I track it with the Borla, the sound is even more satisfying on the track. No overheating problems for me at all.
