2018ZO6?? Yes or no?
I have a 2013 GS vert. I am thinking of getting. 2018 ZO6. I am a little concerned about overall quality. The GS is low miles and has had it's share of recalls and little issues that you don't think you would have to deal with on a 70k car.
Reading the posts hear it seems the ZO6 too has its share of issues.
So the question is. Is the ZO6 worth 90/100k
Thanks for any replies

30,000+ sold would indicate the answer is yes. Only you can decide if it's worth it to you but if you love hp and the feel of huge power I think it would be!

I guess the two biggies for Z06's are potential overheat problems for the A8, and paint for all of them. The paint issues should be better, if not completely resolved, with the opening of the new paint facility. The potential to overheat may or may not touch you, depending on if you want the A8 or M7 and if you intend to track a lot.
Aside from that, I think GM has cleaned up a lot of nagging issues they had in the past. Interior quality seems to be greatly improved, and I think most would agree that form, fit, and function in general is much improved over previous generations. Might you have problems with your car? You could, but I wouldn't count on it.

I had a couple of paint defects but overall the car has been very good in the almost two years I have owned it. Had a couple of electrical connectors come loose but I may have had a hand in causing them to come loose as I was probing around in those areas doing some things. The C7 in general is better than any version of the C6.

On my 2017 I just bought I paid 21 percent off from a private owner.
I spent an average of 75,500 So 151k for 2 Z06's, one M7 one A8.
The loaded 110k car is not worth the 25-30 k more for options.

Yes! If your worried about heat, get the M7 and for those who think the vet is the only high performance car with heat issues or other issue much more major on Road courses....Check other car forums you fools.

I would imagine most who will respond will tell you undoubtedly that its worth it and that's that. I would also bet some who own the car and find it not worth it or even worse wont even comment in fear of starting some sort of feud or something similar being that many around here want to only read fuzzy warm stories that make their tummy's feel good.
Its also important to realize its also logical that a place like this is where you find complaints and criticizing.....I don't have a problem with hearing critiquing and complaining from real world owners, and if some1 hates the car (owner or not) it does not in anyway interfere with my ownership of said car (as it seems to do with many around here).
All that being said, I own and enjoy other sports cars and find the Z to be of great value esp if you can land a deal. Its a lot of car offered for the price. Its not a perfect car in any sense but yet there is none. Its better than some in some areas and falls short to some in other areas.
As mentioned, really only you can make this determination. Good luck.

No they are not worth $90k.

It's your money but my answer is yes. My paint is quite good and it is a 2017. I have a M7 so I will not have overheating issues. Sooner or later the M7 will be history and those who have the M7 will never regret having one.
