I know a know a lot of Zo6s run 10s in the 1/4. I was wondering if they have to have roll cages with those Ets? I have a Z51 with an Edelbrock stage 2 blower and figured id ask before i take the trip to the 1/4 and get tossed.

If it is an NHRA sanctioned track...then you can run down to 10.00s and 135mph if the car is 2009 or newer with NO MODS, except a tire. You also have to have a fire jacket, pants and a helmet. If you are modified (and they see your mods), then you can only run down to 11.5s unless you have a roll bar, tranny loop etc...
Most don't, but they can deny you for something as simple as a CAI. The track here in Phoenix is NHRA sanctioned and they are SUPER strict with their tech inspection. I have stock headers and the guy almost got under the car cause he wasn't satisfied with the 'top view' and a flash light, lol.
I'd think a CAI, tune and pulley would 'likely' pass through most tech inspections without noticing...but a new S/C, headers, meth etc would be tough to get through tech with.
If it's a non-NHRA sanctioned track then it's up to the individual track.
So being im a Z51 with a supercharger (no other mods)im limited to 11.5 without a cage if im following you? If my cars was a Zo6 (supercharger from the factory)it could run 10s without issue.

Correct. (assuming it's an NHRA sanctioned track)

You guys are confusing a roll bar with a cage. They are not the same and the ET cutoff for each is different as are the driver safety equipment requirements. There is also differentiation between open/closed cockpit and auto vs manual transmission running gear requirements i.e Sema spec pressure plate, scatter shield etc.
You really need an NHRA rulebook to accurately determine the requirements. Adherence to the rules are dictated by whomever is the track insurance carrier. NHRA tracks tend to use the "official" company insurance provider. However even NHRA tracks relax the rules for private track rentals as the track insurance may not cover such events at least for car crashes.
