Default Must have stuff you need for your 1LZ!

1. Cargo shade and net 1 minute install
2. Self Dimming rear view mirror 5 minute install
3. Power Stop pads stop the brake dust stuff is nasty 1 hour.
All 3 above are around 140.00 each or so
4. Side skirts if you don't have them. Not sure on install time.

If performance is a consideration the best addition to ANY mag ride C7 is a DSC Sport shock controller. The fluff and cosmetic stuff is all good based upon your likes and needs, however, for performance there is no better option the DSC controller. actually allows you to use the available power and transform handling as well.

I do notice the 2017 ride is better than the 2015 maybe GM tuned the shocks better on the 2017. Maybe I need one to try on the 2015.

Upgraded front splitter and/or stage 2/3 rear wicker set up if the 1LZ was a Stage 1 aero package.

I just purchased the front splitter and skirts. Where are you guys getting the spoiler extensions? And I guess you need the bolts? I saw them for what looks like $150 EACH on GMPARTS... that's a little steep for a couple pieces of plastic even if it is on a 100k car. Anywhere else or is that the place to go?

I like the stage 1 Aero. Nice and clean and only 300.00 to replace the front spoiler 3 times. If it gets a curb rub or damaged I change it.

No way would I have the front bills like on stage 2 and 3 or the rear wing. None of that helps a thing on the highway. JMO

1lz with comp seats, 1lz with PDR and Nav. Both option choices to me are ahead of 2 lz.
Time you add either of those and 2 lz your hitting 90 plus k.
When really what is needed that doesn't come on a 1 Lz? I like the dimming mirror (134.00) easy change. Scored a cargo shade and net for $65.00
So it is either or with me.
I just add the stuff I want myself.
Love the A8 and having both cars BTW.

Usually your condescending, self placating posts make me shake my head, but I agree with you here for the first time.

FWIW, I had a 2015 and now a 2017 and don't notice any difference in the OEM ride.

It was for sure the tires. I put my 2017 wheels and tires on my 2015 and boom it rides like my 2017.
Went right down and bought another set of the runflats.

I did find out the difference between the Michelin runflat and non runflat.

My non run flats are a different compound some think they are the same compound they are not and they do not have the grip
of the stock Z06 runflat.

They are also 1 size smaller front and rear.
325 rear 275 front. After driving the 2017 I bought another set of the
runflats. They are the best tire for the car when using the 19/20 rims.

explains the poor 60ft with a lot of mid track traction issues.
I had been using those tires on my 2015Z and My 2009 ZR1.
