I'm ready to pull the trigger on my wheels, but still researching what tire will actually fit.

Thanks,

I honestly don’t know lol haven’t picked up car yet. That’s the pic shop sent me after install. They were gonna lower and align it then do some wiring of electronics then dyno tune. Hopefully be ready this week and I’ll let you know. FYI call Carlyle they will fix you up!

What tires are these? I am running the 295 55 15 et streets and they didnt hook at all with 1024WHP or even 880WHP on my detuned map.

1 - do a 15" conversion to the car
2 - Buy an 18" setup for the street / roll racing
3 - Buy a 15" setup for the strip

I think this is my best bet to check all my boxes. Its not the cheapest solution, but I fully understand paying to play.

Unreal, what wheels and tires do you use for your 15" setup?
I went with a set of Signature forged rims SV104s... Its lighter and will provide enough street strip performance for me........ I hope!

What are guys paying for the 15" conversion ??

Possibly a little bit more on a C7. Figure drag spindle kit is about $2500 alone. I doubt you would get wheels and tires for $2500, unless you only did the rears and did not do skinnies up front.

Exactly what I did. 18's for road, 15's for the strip!!

Contact Carlyle Racing! I was able to get the complete C7 conversion and mounted and balanced 15's for an AMAZING price.... It was at the point I couldn't pass up. PM me if you have questions

Any rubbing issues? How well do this hook and what power level are you at? Any 60Ft times at the track?

I am trying to decide between this street r's or the et pros 275X.
I need maximum traction.
Thank You

Thanks for the info! How do they feel on the top end of the track? Floaty or wobbly? Do you have any rubbing from the tires on the wheel well liners?

I'm making 800 and are running the nitto nto5r 345. I pulled a 1.5 60 ft and they hook up on a roll. I'm now adding a fuel system and e85 and idk if they will hook. If not I will prob go with a 18" replica and Mickey Thompson tire I heard the hook at track and Handel well on street. I have 18" forgestar and Hoosiers that I want to use at track due to being 32lbs lighter and shorter but I have to retune the car or the tranny won't shift right and they won't Handel very well on the street

I am running the MT P325/35R18 "27X13.50R18" ET street R on 18 x 12 Forgeline GA1R's
1.31 to 1.35 60ft. They are smooth on the street but little to no grooves so you don't want to get caught in the rain with them

Spindles, custom lower control arm and Carlyle has an awesome 4 piston caliper setup so you don't need to drop to a single piston setup.

If you're talking 830 rwhp I would consider a Weld or comparable drag pack with 17" x 4.5" up front and 15's out back. It will cost you some $ to accommodate this, but no 18" or 19" dr is going to hook as well as a 15" dr, IMO.
Good luck!
will not in the c5 on 15,s rear weld with beadlock. I used a 275x15 on 10 wide with a MT tire HOOKED UP THE BEST THIS TIRE FOR THE TRACK ONLY. Robert

Ant this is what I did in the c5 It was the only way I could hook on the track at all to a point. But then again I was pushing almost 1300 rwhp.

I only been up to maybe 140 and all feel good. No rubbing with 2 people in car with full tank.

Continental extreme contact sports with stock wheels non run flat up front and MT ET SS 18/345 in rear. Cut 1.4xx 60' and stable at high speeds. Good daily tire. Highly recommend.
