Default Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust System #19236

There is a thread regarding the Magnaflow 19236 that can be ordered on E bay for $400.00. I though how can that be??
I contacted Magnaflow direct and spoke to a couple of their reps.
They said that it's very probable that the price is correct because the Magnaflow 19236 is no longer being produced. I asked and was told that there are no fitment issues!
You can save just a ton of money on the system. The unit has been purchased by a couple of Forum members and they are astonished with the product. My set will be at my residence on 10/18.

Just got home after having my Magnaflow installed, sounds like a racecar now, it roars when you are on the throttle, and at idle it sounds awesome. I have an A8, so going down the highway at 70 Mph you can hear it, but it is not annoying whatsoever, just slightly hear it. So I am 100% pleased with the system and it was a steal at 400 bucks, dealership charged me 300 bucks to install, money well spent

Its still on there for 400. Says there are only 8 left. This is a deal! Does anyone know if this works with the npp system? I see it does have one set of valves on it in picture?

It comes without the valves, take old ones off and put into the new unit.

Just scares me that only one place has them for 400 bucks? All other sellers are over 2000?

Description says 2015-2017...but when you enter 2015 in the compatibility chart it says it does not fit...?

Questions about fitment... a new seller with only 10 feedback scores... a price that's about 80% less than everyone else...
Smells fishy.
I'll be in LA on Friday so I sent a message asking if I could come pick one up.
We'll see... if they say yes, I'm buying them all. lol

What’s interesting is that Magnaflow hasn’t chimed in and they monitor this site. Again I spoke with a Magnaflow Rep and he said it’s more than plausible.

I ordered one as well...paypal is good about refunding money on scams so I am not concerned.

In the other thread several have received it and installed it already so we should be good.

Hope you all are aware, the NPP does next to nothing with this system. Yes the valves work for the sake of saying they do something but there is no additional attenuation or muffling done when you close the inner pipe. This exhaust is pretty damn loud, and will certainly wake up your car but it got old after a while. It does drone at low rpm, high load situations as well.

To say anyone has been "astonished" with the product is a bit of a stretch.

This was a video I put together a while back when someone requested audio.

This is the same setup but on track with an external lavalier mic on the license plate.
