Default Rear jacking point

Where is the proper jacking point to lift the rear of the car to install diffusers?

As per the Owners Manual, there are two approved metal members under the rear of the car (the spring is a definite NO). I put a 2”x6” about 10” long of fir right underneath the cross hatching on one of them, running from side to side, and then jack it up.

In the below picture, from the Owners Manual, you can see both metal cross-hatched, approved jacking locations (ignore the yellow arrow, that is not related to your question).

Of course, then put jacking pucks (Fred @ Reverse Logic has outstanding ones) into the proper opening in the front-to-back chassis rail (just inside my side skirts, in front of the rear wheel), then under the pucks, place jackstands for safety.

Before doing any jacking, I have placed chocks in front of my front wheels.

Done this without an issue many times, for such things as rear tires/wheel change, installing Powerstop brake pads, and more.
