I do like the looks of the intake and may get it for the looks. I have the BMS filter and would use it along with this intake. If it doesn't fit, I hope Terry makes one for it.

When I ordered my Black 2010 Grand Sport the salesman asked if I wanted NPP exhaust which adds an additional 6 HP to the 430. I said how much and after hearing the price it took me about an eye blink to say "NO".

After breakin, I took my first Corvette to the track just to see how it would run with a full tank of gas. After I got home and checked the C6 forum 'fast list' I was shocked to see I had set the "stock" GS record. I guess I did not need the extra HP.

I feel like GM should be making a bigger deal out of this. Anyone know if the intake on the ZR1 is any different than ours?

Funny you mention that. My parts guy hadn't even heard of it or didn't know anything about it.

Good question!
Not sure if the ZR1 and Z06 share the same intake and filter.

Yes, the A8 has a lower first gear, but that also results in it needing to shift out of first gear sooner, with the resulting rear-wheel-torque drop from the earlier shift.
Your still showing your completely clueless and lost and completely IGNORT on the subject.

It was proven time and time again your clueless thinking invalidates nothing.

Default GM Air Intake 84152141

I see that the intake is now available. Best price is $496. plus shipping
cost of around $20. I will be looking forward to comments from members who install one of these. I am using a BMS filter and looking for a
comparison to determine whether it's worth the investment. There are
most likely a lot of members with the same thoughts.

I find find myself wondering if this is the intake they used on the ZR1. 🤔

(This could be my golden ticket to 755hp?)

I'm what? IGNORT?
Hey, at least I'm smart enough to know that "ignorant" has three syllables.

I said you were IGNORANT on the subject! Just shows you saw the spelling error but not were smart enough to understand the words.

Thanks for the correct spelling on the term! Now that you bring it up, You keep proving that it does fit you!

You call names and troll threads and hate but still have no idea. About why? The A8 has the faster 0-60 over the M7?.

Lets hear why again! I need another laugh!

More power with a Halltech!

According to the CARB EXORD, it uses a conical type filter.

Probably something similar to what the Camaro LT1 23408280 uses.

That looks like the first Halltech (K&N Filter) used till he changed to using a same filter but smaller end cap allowing more room in the airbox. Jim said It worked better!

Yes, but the shape of the filter housing outlet suggests that is uses more of an ovoid conical shape.

I'm wanting to know if it's just the the air/filter box or does it include the intake tube.
