Default Unbiased heartbeat vs LT4 blower results!

Our tuner nic's C7z on the dyno after we swapped a @magnusonsuperchargers heartbeat on it (2.3l) to see what it would do with that being the only change.

This car has an 18% lower, halltech intake, arh 2" headers, alky control meth kit, and flex fuel kit (e54).

Stock upper pulley is a 2.5 and we used an 80 mm (roughly 3.1) to try and keep boost as close to the same as possible (it ended up being 1 psi higher) but the gains up top are massive considering the blower isn't chocked up top anymore.

Car still has the stock cam in it, there are zero dyno tricks being played here guy's. we bolted on the blower and tuned it, this is exactly what it netted us.

Also to note this car with bolt on's has gone 10.02 @ 136 (time slip attached) and pulled a nice wheelie in 4300 FT DA. on dec 10th we are running the car again at another track rental in tucson to see what this netted us

We have made with this blower on a 6th gen 830 rwhp easily. Still had room to go and that was without an ice tank too.

Nice are you still using meth? Or any fuel aids?
I have the heart beat ordered and a fuel pressure booster.
Thanks for the thread!

Yes it has meth. When he wants to turn it up more it will be getting our low side fuel system

Thank you for this!

Can you elaborate on your low side upgrade?

Looking for 700 rwhp with a heartbeat and with 2 arh and halltech?
Thanks

Damn.... 70hp with only 1 psi increase in boost, thats pretty crazy. IATS must be WAY lower now.... That or the new blower is WAY easier to turn...(less parasitic loss)

Pretty impressive to say the least. 70hp gain will have him in the 9.60s in the same air, if not some .50s.....

We have the original low side fuel system upgrade for these. Used by almost all the big shops and easily over 60 sold. We send it all pre-assembled and has supported 1300 rwhp on the gas scale. It's available on our store or by calling us or email.

So with the low side fuel system you can eliminate the need for meth and just run higher octane?

Our low side supports exactly that, the low side. You still need to have enough high side to support your goals. That could be a simple meth nozzle, cam, or larger injectors. There is no blanket statement.

thanks for this is great info. What will this blower do on this car maxed out? Or how much more boost will this blower produce?

Boost is irrelevant, power wise we have made 830 rwhp on a 6th gen with this blower. On ls platforms I've made 900 rwhp, I think 900 is doable on a Z with every truck thrown at it since you can get a larger lower on the z vs a 6th gen.

Can't wait to see what this thing will do now even with our crappy DA. I'm going to run a slightly larger pulley to try to drop that psi of boost out of it for a more direct comparison at some point but I'm going to take it to the track first as it sits. I'm at the very limit of the fuel system running 50% ethanol with the meth and fuel pressure is barely hanging on.

Could you not change cams and add some fuel lobe to help? Assume probably need injectors at that point too.

he sure could, would need our low side too though.

with a cam and the high setup correctly and our low side I have customers making 730-750 rwhp on 100% e85 w/ zero meth in c7 z's.

I'm trying to stay on pump gas with mine. I have the 2 inch AR headers
and Halltech and the Mamo PTB to go with the Heartbeat.

Lingenfelter has a bigger bore fuel pump for the lt4 shown on there website. . New to me but Weapon X thought I could get 720rw using that. Along with a new heat exchanger.
I wanted to add the ATI lower pulley balancer in the 5 percent over drive pulley as well

the lpe pump isn't worth it imo. you're going to be timing limited as I think you have 91 before you get fuel limited. On the heat exchanger we make a unit and an ice tank/resevoir tank as well.
