Hey guys, I'm currently around 650whp, 700 tq. Been to the track several times before and no issues. Tuner decides to change a few things and then the next day first pass I break my rear differential on the launch but run a new PR for myself @ 10.3 at 137 LOL, no idea how. On MT ET S/S DR.
Anyways, I was lucky enough to get it replaced under warranty. I want to go back eventually. How do I make sure this doesn't happen again? Could it have been me and the burnout wasn't long enough? Maybe I missed the water spot when I reversed back (not 100% sure if I was in it or not).
When I was at the dealer, he told me there were several other vettes in for a rear differential as well. Curious to see if this is a common issue or not.

My Z06 has been at the dealer for almost a month waiting for parts to fix my broken differential. Unlike the OP, though, my Z is bone stock.
It's a 2017, A8, Z07 with under 7500 miles. The rear end just started whining and quickly got louder and louder...I took it in and they said it needed a new diff. I'm hoping to get it back this week.

Eric
my rear end was replaced at 500 miles.defect from factory,2016.alot of bad ones out there.
Mine broke the same way. I was trying to do a burn out. I have similar stats as far as hp and tq. But my 60 ft was 1.41 and I only trapped 130. I am also getting mine fixed under warranty. I am going to not go to the track until after I get an RPM differential with wavetrac.
