Anyone know if any vendor is working on a quality 170 stat that doesn't fall apart?

You've got two options. LMR 160 or Mishimoto 160. All others fall apart and are junk. Nothing else is in the works that we know about.

Do you know if there are any mods that can be made to these 2 stats such as drilling a small hole to make it closer to a 170 and not throwing codes on an untuned car?

If your willing to drill holes then just do this ........ mine has been working fine.
