From Jordan at DSC:

Yes it's one of the biggest updates we've done to date. You should see an improvement in the velocity function.

....hopefully we get a few more details than that. Waiting on the tractive file to update before looking at it.

if your running 08-28-17 that was the big update this one is minor it was a small speed table bug nothing that would be of concern both have the same pdts file. please note on the site I do now have a new pdts that has a more controlled touring mode other than that there is no change

I noticed there is a pdts file for the z51 on the website. Which one do we use or the z06?

the latest files posted on the site this week are both Z51 and Z06 the difference is very slight
for the Z51 big improvement in touring mode no more floaty feel
for the Z06 improved touring same nice ride more pronounced feel

I updated my controller to the V3 firmware but now it says V2.1 and has the 11/27 date. Is this correct, it won't show V3 when checking firmware?

I had the same result with the same question if that 'was correct'.

Saw the post and downloaded the base file. Now I know how a z06 go cart feels . Lol. Can't wait for the tractive file. I knew what I'd done before I got out of the garage.

It seems this question was never answered, at least in this thread, but I'd still like to know what it is. On the DSC site the firmware file listed for my GT350 says "11-27-17 V3 update!", just like it does for Camaro and Corvette. When I install it and check the version it says "Ver GT350 2.1 11-13-17 enc 3mode". Also when I click the Help button all it has is "About DSC Tuner". There is no actual Help info like what is shown in the V3 info. Sorry to post Mustang questions here but the DSC controller is pretty much unknown in Ford circles.

Sorry for the confusion all firmware after 08-08-17 is V3 I never changed the embedded discripdesc. I'll be on the site Monday to review all the posted firmware and pdts files as we are releasing the complete Ford focus RS suspension system and we're adding that to the site as well we will add 1.8.3 tuning software with help functions
All the best

Any word on when the new controllers will be in. A couple weeks ago I spoke with Jeremy and he mentioned two or three weeks.

Tuning Software 1.8.3 (just downloaded the .exe file.)

(Please excuse my lack of computer knowledge…basically I’m a computer goober head.)

I have the 1.7.1, 17 Jan 2018 version tuning software and am running the 12-18-17 C7-Z06 V3.pdts calibration file, and I am very satisfied with the way it rides and corners…..did the 4 wheel alignment too (and yes the rear caster the correct way).

Questions –

1. What advantage would the 1.8.3 version tuning software give me?

2. Exactly how would I get the 1.8.3 software and 12-18-17 C7-Z06 V3 cal file into my V3 Controller…..I forgot?
