Default DIY Battery Install Issues

This was a very humbling experience.
I installed a new battery today in my 2015 Z06. I am left with the following problems:
1. I cannot re-index my windows, by raising them, holding switch in up position for 3 seconds, releasing the switch and repeating.
2. I cannot open the trunk at all with the key fob or switch on lower instrument panel.
3. Due to the very cold temperatures, The "L" tube on the old battery vent broke off where the tube inserts into the battery. Is the "L" tube a stand alone part or do I need the entire vent assembly, or is there some other way I can rig this up?
I haven't started the car yet after the install. Are there other issues I should expect? I think I lost my radio pre-sets and will need to re-program in my phone, but don't know if there is anything else to be on the lookout for.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Sorry to hear that. Next time get a 9 volt battery and a small device that plugs into the cigar lighter that will keep enough current to keep you settings. About $10 at an auto parts store.

Try starting the car. I expect once the car cycles and the pcm/bcm start talking to each other all will be well.

If you are concerned start the car with the hatch open or if a vert as in your handle with the trunk open. Although many have run the C6Zs without hooking up the vent.

You should be able to get that little 90 deg hard plastic ell at the auto parts store.

pkincy,
Thank you for your reply.
I did locate in the manual that before re-indexing, I need to start the car.
Hopefully that will resolve the "re-indexing" issue and possible the trunk issue.
Your suggestion about the 9v battery device will be helpful in the future.
I just read the manual where it says there is an emergency trunk release, but I haven't searched for it yet. Its been pretty cold here in the northeast for the last week or two, my garage temp. is around 20 degrees F and the car had been in semi-hibernation on a battery tender waiting for the new battery to be installed, which was installed today.
Thanks again.

As for the trunk issue, assuming it a convertible, run the top down and up a full cycle. That should take care of it

Cycling the convertible top seems to have resolved the issues even though here in the northeast the top will not go down due to the cold weather. I was able to cycle the top setttings without the top going down.
Thank you for your insights and assistance.
