You don't need to have them installed. The C7 is like the C5 it tells you they aren't working properly or aren't there but lets you ignore the warning and drive as you want. I ran several track events with no sensors in my wheels and had no issues. None of the problems that I encountered with the C6Z where the car would limit speed in turns to 55 mph if a tire pressure was low, a sensor bad or with no sensors.

Thanks, Bill! Putting a drag pack together and can't find a TPMS to work on the front skinnies, rears not a problem until I deflate the tire at the track. So I'll just need to ignore the dash warning.
