Default Launch control

Pretty good explanation and demo

seems to work well on automatic not so much on m7.

Works well on manual other than you need to be on level ground to keep the car from rolling. A little difficult to use your right foot to mash the gas pedal to the floor and to use it to hold the brake at the same time. Heel and toe doesn't require that much bending of the ankle.

Have you guys done launch control on the M7 in PTM race? Supposedly the launch control is 'drag strip launch control'. The one time i tried it on the street I ended up with a raging burnout launch. I assume it's expecting a higher coefficient of friction associated with a prepared surface and not a typical street.

I think you can launch better in the m7 just coming off the clutch just above an idle. And it won’t shock the drive trainBased upon the video of the m7 above. The launch control on the a8 is outstanding.
