Yes 79 L82 My wife's stepfather passed away a couple of years ago and left it to her. He bought it new in 79 and never drove it 5,500 miles on it. Yes 5,500 not 55,000.

Nice car!

I'm calling Chris this week to discuss getting my 16 A8 upgraded. The only thing I am thinking about is the need to get the SC 'hat' painted or coated to match my Laguna Blue car. Yes, probably an unusual consideration, but something fun to consider on a miserably cold and wet day. Were my car black or AW, no second thoughts.

I also like your guard dog. Looks pretty mean, on the order of death by a thousand licks? ;-)

Stay warm and dry. Spring is coming!

Thanks. Get the shifter as well. I think its 5 or 6 hundred. Night and day from stock. Much shorter throw with positive transition between gears, almost never miss a shift with it.

With dry & sunny conditions this afternoon I got out my 2016 DSOM Vert today for a 30 minute ride and it felt AWESOME! Now she’s back up on your lift but man did that little ride make a big difference.

I pass up these rare days with great frustration (argh) for the following reasons.

Potholes, deep ones.
Potholes with cold patches that are half elevated or strewn nearby in large chunks.
Frost heaves that are truly impressive displays of roadway mayhem.
Tree limbs, branches large and small.
Salt piles (mixed with sand) that have yet to be washed away or streetsweeper picked up.

Ah, the joys of New England roads.

Hibernating peacefully
How do you like the SC757? My Z06 is at Chris shop now. Can't wait to take delivery. I never seen her in person. Was dropped shipped from Plant in Kentucky straight to Callaway.

Love the 757. Had it done at 3000 miles. The car is noticeably more powerful. I recently went to Spring Mountain and drove a stock ZO6 for the first time since i got it done and realized just how much more power the 757 has. I was coming out of turns and saying to myself "Huh feels a little slow" well maybe not that bad but it was very noticeable to me that the car was much slower. I also did the short throw shifter and the difference is night and day. As for driving on the few nice Northeast winter days i am always torn between taking the car out and letting it stay in the garage to avoid the countless # of obstacles on the roads in the winter.

I was playing out in the garage yesterday also. It was raining here. Going to be 50's and sunny the next 3 days. I will be driving. Took this pic yesterday.

Ok you got me. I took it out for an hour or so a week after the original post. Then spent 2 hours washing the car.
