just grabbed my 16 z07 w 7k miles fom dealer this am w mag ride update just done w 24hr chill time..
tour is like super plush and comfy yet handles when demanded from car , sport felt a lot smoother over bumps (run 36 psi all round cause Non RF) so my car is somewhat jolty over bumps alot of that was gone on my 25 min commute this am ..
also track mode has been significantly improved w the jollty'nesss feeling i actually drove in track most of the way ( whereas i would only drive track mode for , handles very similar if not same but the but and rigidness of the susp is gone baby gone..
OK, I'm really confused with this last statement. If you have it set up for the exhaust to be same as Drive Mode then it will be louder in Track than Sport. If, as lots of us do, set exhaust mode to Track & just use **** to change suspension depending on whether I'm just cruising or hauling butt thru twisties from anything to Tour/Sport/Track & usually if being spirited I go straight to PTM Mode Sport 2. As far as noise of exhaust, is entirely user friendly by setting it separate to drive mode or to follow drive mode. And then there's those who think by pulling fuse 42, the baffles/valves are always open regardless of any other setting. Really hope I'm not starting trouble, just what (I believe) I've read on here. Of course there's always Stealth mode if you haven't pulled the fuse.
Yes, Track is louder than Sport (or equally loud but in more situations) but if I leave my car in Track it starts in Tour. If I leave it in Sport it starts in Sport. So to get a loud startup, for mine, I have to leave it in Sport, not Track.

Not arguing just trying to be clear & make sure I understand what you're saying. If you set the DIAL on the center console to TRACK while driving, yes car will reset to TOUR when shutdown then restarted. However, you can go to settings/engine sound management/exhaust & set TRACK. That make car start & drive with exhaust in TRACK sound management always regardless of shutdown/restart, only the suspension settings will reset to TOUR.

OK, thanks - if I get what you're saying, leaving the sound management in Track will give you a loud start. I didn't know that, thanks!

FSM says the exhaust valves will be open all Engine Sound Management set in Track Mode. I posted a picture of that in another thread. The only time I suspect they close then is when the engine switches from V8 to V4 mode. I know when I am driving in Eco Mode every time the engine switches to V4 mode I can hear the exhaust get quieter and when it switches back to V8 mode it gets loud again. This happens even when I am driving around town with engine rpms between 1000 and 1500. If I put the drive mode in Tour mode the engine doesn't switch between V8 and V4 so the exhaust is loud all the time. No need to pull the exhaust fuse or to install a Mild to Wild. Car lets you manage sound without doing any of that stuff.

Bill.
'16 M7/Z. Wondering after reading this part^^^^^, maybe in V4 there is 1/2 the exhaust flow/pressure, so it gets quieter. Just a thought-hard to run along behind your car doing 60 mph to verify!
I think since the MRC Upgrade is a relatively new thing, not a lot of dealerships know that much about it. Case in point: I asked the dealership where a bought my car about it, they didn't know. Then I gave them the info, and the service manager said he doesn't want to "take the chance messing up the electronics," so they declined. Then I called a dealership that sells more Corvettes, and the guy in service that answered the phone didn't know what I was talking about, but when he yelled at another guy about it, the guy in the background said, "yeah, you download software into the car; you call the Techline." And yesterday after work I stopped by the dealership closest to my house which I have thought was the crappiest service place ever, over 3 past Vettes, and the service manager said, "sure." He wouldn't even take the paper that I had with the directions because he said his tech guy has done it a lot lately.
