Most definitely! What happened? At first I thought it was rear ended but doesn't seem to show typical rear end damage.

Hope your friend gets well quick! His car however confused me as a Z06 with GS hash marks and ZR1 wheels!

What were his injuries? I've always thought being rear ended in a high-back seat would be a reasonably "safe" way to get hit, no whiplash, etc...

the c7 convertible actually held up quite well. Birdcage looks untouched. I can only imagine how bad his neck is.

I was was rear ended a couple of years ago in my daily driver. Young gal texting and eating French fries (she admitted to eating fries and looking down. ) 2800 bucks of damage, 2500 to the exhaust system had to replace the entire exahust from the manifold back and 300 to the rear bumper cover. Looking at my suv you couldn’t tell much happened , but it tweaked something in my shoulder and neck. My ring and pinky finger on my left hand were numb for nearly a year. I am sure your buddy will feel the effects for some time.

I read on Facebook that he was going about 25 and expedition was going about 70. Just stating what I read, not sure if its right or wrong. Crazy that hes doing fine after taking a hit from a car that big going that fast.. Glad hes alright. Those wheels held up like crazy!
