Default First Round of Mods BMS, TM TB, Borla X-Pipe

Had sometime to finally install the parts sitting in the garage.
Install was very easy and straight forward.
Took maybe 2 hours for everything taking my time, mostly spent on the x-pipe.

BMS Filter
Tony Mamo Ported Throttle Body
Borla X-Pipe.

First drive impressions:
Crisper throttle response, nice exhaust tone but will eventually install cat back.

Now to wait for warmer temps to see if we can get it to hook up instead of spin at any blip of the throttle.

I was able to take the car out yesterday. I can tell a big difference in the car now and the sound above 3000 rpm is awesome. But I am very traction limited as it was only about 50 degrees yesterday. I am going to wait for warmer temps, but I think the DCS controller will be the next item to go on the car.

AWESOME! We have the same car and I'm planning the same exact first round of mods. I have the TM TB already but where did you order your Borla X-Pipe? Is it noticeably louder than stock? Any burble on deceleration (I hope so!)?

I ordered my x-pipe when the big online retailer had it on sale for prime members a few weeks ago. It is louder but not crazy where the neighbors would complain.

So far I think the TM ported Throttle Body has been the best addition.

So question on these exact mods. Another member posted he was running lean with them and just about to order the x-pipe myself but now am interested if with a factory tune what kind of lean condition does this cause. I do drag race so it’s a concern. Anybody have any dyno numbers to support either way?

Would love to know how you did on the dyno. I'm planning the same mods on my 17.

Well I haven't gone to the dyno yet, work got crazy and the our little one was born and the car has been on the back burner. I am collecting parts for a cam swap now.

The car has been running great. The DSC controller is going in this week.

I have been running the same setup except with a Halltech. Love the way it drive now, 1500 miles and still smiling. I did put a MGW shifter in, may not be for everyone but I like the crisp feel.

I took sometime this weekend and installed the MGW shifter and DSC Controller, really easy install. First drive I could tell a huge difference in shifting and the ride quality is exceptional. Hopefully the Magnaflow axle back will be going on this week, then I am going to drive it for a awhile and then over winter heads, cam, pulley, and cooling mods and of course before and after dyno runs.
