Default 3/18 Texas Mile various Z06 results and ???

So I attended the March 2018 Texas Mile once again as a spectator. Hoping to make it out in October as a driver. Saw a myriad of cars and a ton of Z06s and even a 2019 ZR1! I tried to find out what I could from the owners but they were rarely by the cars so if anyone knows any more info it would be appreciated. I attended most of the day Saturday and a few hours on Sunday. Both of those days there was a 10-15 MPH crosswind.

Speeds are listed 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile and full mile. Timing display was glitchy and distractions were a plenty so I did my best

Grey Z06 185.3 unsure of mods.
Black C6Z06 173.7 unsure of mods
Black C7Z #1 talked to driver- was told it was his fathers car and was stock M7 speeds were 122-149-171
Black Z06 #2 talked to owner- was told bone stock A8 with about 1k miles first pass 117-147-172 (saturday), 122-151-174.1 and 124-152-175.3 on Sunday (owner told me he went 178 on Friday which may have happened as I think it was more of a direct tailwind that day).
White C7 Z06 stage 3 aero 125-149.8-121 (tech in run?)
AMP Vette highly modded 195 half, 207.8 with broke blower belt during the run. Came back and made a 228.5 pass later
Red C7Z unsure of mods 181.2

2019 A8 ZR1 speeds for reference-

132.6- 158.8 (tech pass)
129.8- 157.1- 180.8 first full pass with full aero

After I left the ZR1 hit 183.3 and then removed the front winglets and rear wing and went an incredible 189.1 and the next morning 190.1

I would say in general the crosswinds were affecting the runs especially the motorcycle guys.

As ugly as it is, the ZR-1 is legit!

I was out there this weekend in my black C7Z. @ 3/4 marker and 168 I popped the p106 code and went into limp mode. Cleared and ran again with the same prob. Time for GM to do the reflash on my 2017. The red C7z was next to me and was stock.

With the aero stripped off it goes faster than stock. Seems the Callaway Z06 is about equally as fast. ZR1 right now says no tuning yet.

I don't recall any Callaway Zs out there so not sure how you can say that.

Sorry to hear that. What were your 1/4 and 1/2 speeds?

so on the z07 with adjustable spoiler, sounds beneficial to remove it on a pass

Callaway SC757 Z06 is what he's referring to.

With the blower hole in the hood I didn't see any this time and with conditions varying so much between events I felt the need to make it a point

whats your best guess on the c6z - modified or stock?

if it’s stock it showed well and a couple of miles and hour faster then the stock c7z’s.

Good question. I don't think it was 100% stock from memory of what other bone stock C6Zs have ran from years past. But... Every event is different and I'm guessing with a decent driver it may have the most basic bolt-ons like just CAI and exhaust. C6Zs have always been impressive and I wish I could have kept mine and got my C7Z too
