Hey, I'm a dentist and actually, brushing your teeth after drinking a quart of oil is recommended by the ADA.

You have no idea! The Lt4 sucks crank case gunk right in the blower after pulling my blower at 28k it showed the need to fix the issue.
The MMS fix replaces the PCV under the blower so it goes straight to the catch can not into the engine only one out designed like it is. stops the tail pipe gunk coming out. Noticed all ready on mine it is staying clean! Live and learn!

Have ever installed one? Do you have any idea either NO!
But you seem chose to talk a lot about what you have no idea about!
Nothing you been at it since day one.
Your wrong on the 2300 Heartbeat as well as your opinion on long tube headers. Lots of stuff you sell your a supposed vendor! Who choses to knock members? No beef with you but you then chime with no idea!
No wonder I buy a lot of stuff from a dozen or so vendors who have become friends but not from you!

How many miles with your MM catch can, and have you removed the blower lid since then?

1. There is less time for the fuel to vaporize completely, and the heavier components of the fuel (those which are more like oil) are more likely to remain in a droplet form, and not be completely burned.
2. With direct injection, some of the sprayed fuel hits the combustion chamber surfaces as a liquid, and since the combustion chamber surfaces are cooler, doesn't vaporize completely enough to burn completely.
Both these conditions result in more of that oily component in gasoline being cooked into carbon/soot, rather than being volatilized completely enough to burn. So in a way, it's like the soot which comes from burning excessive engine oil, but engine oil is not the source.
One of the problems is that gasoline is composed of compounds with a variety of different vaporization temperatures and properties. In tests, fuels with a single vaporization temperature, like ethanol, produced significantly less soot in direct injection engines.
