I am looking at possibly buying a set of these overpriced splash guards just due to the fact that the GM guards I have now don't seem to be working well. I have gotten a few chips in the rear brake duct and rear quarter panel. I do have the side skirts but am looking for the best possible protection outside of clear bra.
Does anyone have experience with these guards especially compared to other guards? I am trying to justify the cost of these and they are well worth it to me if they will stop the rear from getting chewed up from rocks, but I'd like to hear confirmation before dropping a lot of money on them. Can anyone help?
I don't do burnouts. I have them because they offer the absolute best protection. Aesthetically, they take some use to getting to. Yes, they are the most expensive guards on the market.
I don't have the rear ones. I dont think they're necessary as I have no damage from rock chips in the rear.

$13 at your local auto parts store. I've got these, and with the sideskirts I've got nothing on my rockers or brake inlets. If you get on your hands and knees and look you'll see where I cut them to fit. If not, you'd never know they're not OEM.

I had those, pretty good coverage. Look from the rear on the side of your car down low, they don’t cover the whole front tire do they? They are better than the GM ones though. I switched to O’reilly C mud guard and cut it to shape. Here is a picture of their coverage.

Took some pics of the $13 mud flaps. Too much sun in the last one to see how well it fits the car but the other three show it pretty well and show that the front tire is completely covered. No stones going to hit the sides with that kind of coverage.
