Default Yvette gets her own Vette and many other deliveries 4/22/18-Mike Furman@Criswell*****

~This Tuesday the 24th thru Friday the 27th I travel to Bowling Green, KY for the annual Corvette Bash to be held at the Corvette Museum. Thousands of Corvette enthusiasts will join in on the event that I consider "a must attend" every year. I am a Lifetime Member of the Museum and enjoy viewing the many great Corvettes on display as they each tell their own story. Put it on your bucket list if you have never made it to the National Corvette Museum. Hope to see you all there!

~Yvette K. Of Glendale, California called me this week and picked out this brand new Arctic White 2017 Stingray Cpe with the Red White and Blue full length racing stripe. Only 71 built in 2017 and I sold two nearly identical in the same day. Yvette was referred to me by her fiancé Gary, he had bought a new Corvette from me last year. Yvette’s new Stingray has gray interior, Magnetic select ride, Red calipers, Auto trans, Performance exhaust and 2LT Pkg. This week it will be shipped enclosed trailer to her home in California. Yvette is a Colonel, US Army (Retired)...so I guess Yvette being a Vet and getting a Vette is apropos.
Thank you very much for your service Yvette. I am very glad to have been able to assist you both.

~Chris L. Of Las Vegas, Nevada heard about me thru the Forums and 6 weeks ago placed his factory order for a 2019 Torch Red Z06 Cpe. Chris chose 2LZ Pkg, Visible Carbon fiber ground effects, body color dual roof Pkg, CF hood stripe, CF Instrument panel, 7 Spd manual trans, Black Wheels, Navigation/PDR and Black microfiber insert seats. This week Plycon Trucking will enclose trailer his new 650HP Corvette to his home in Nevada.

~Les B. Of Springfield, VA called me 6 weeks ago to factory order a 2019 Long Beach Red Metallic Corvette Z51 Cpe. He’s owned a few Corvettes before (last one was a C5) so he knew exactly what he wanted. Les ordered a 2LT Pkg, body colored vents, Magnetic ride control, Auto trans, chrome wheels and much more.

~Robert and Sara M. Of Columbia, MD were also referred in to me by Tom P. They picked out an inbound 2019 Arctic White Stingray Convt with Adrenaline Red interior and Black top. This Corvette Convertible has Black Wheels, CF Badges, Red calipers, Auto trans, Performance exhaust and much more. Today was delivery day and they were in and out in no time.

~Tom J. Of Ellicott City, MD was referred in to me today by his cousin Tom P. (same Tom P. referral as above) who has bought many Corvettes from me. Tom J and his son picked out a 2019 Torch Red Stingray with the Black Motorsports Wheels, Auto trans, 1LT Pkg, CF badge Pkg, Red calipers, Performance exhaust and much more. He may come back next week for another one. Yesterday he traded in his 2018 Mercedes 300 with 5,000 miles to drive a new C7.

~Dave and Joanne of Selbyville, DE were first referred to me by a local Camaro club member in 2005 when they purchased a brand new 2005 Monterey Z51 Convt off the showroom floor....the back story is they came in dead set on ordering Yellow and I had exactly what they wanted on the showroom floor but in Monterey Red! So Dave called me the next day and said I will be there shortly for the showroom Corvette instead of ordering Yellow. Over the years they joined the same Corvette club and bought many family vehicles from me. Yesterday they came in at 7:30am to choose as they had it narrowed down to 10 possibilities! They test drove a Black Stingray and chose...drumroll please...This 2017 Arctic White with Gray interior had won out. The Red White and Blue stripe makes this Corvette 1 of 71 built in 2017. 2LT Pkg, chrome wheels, Magnetic select ride, Performance exhaust and Navigation/PDR are the list of options on this beauty. It was great catching up with them.

~Sandy N. Of Jacksonville, Florida called me 8 weeks ago to place his factory order for a 2019 Sebring Orange Grand Sport Convt.. Sandy optioned his new Sebring Corvette with Kalahari top, Kalahari interior, 3LT Pkg, CF Stinger hood Stripe, Auto trans, machined face wheels and much more. Plycar Trucking picked it up Friday and will enclose ship it to Sandy’s driveway.

~Lou D. Of Frederick, MD didn’t have far to reach out to me, we are both members of the Frederick County Corvette Club. Lou picked out a new 2018 Z06 in Sebring Orange with Black interior, 1LZ Pkg, 7 spd manual trans and Spectra Gray wheels. A mere 650HP gets him from point A to Point B very quickly.
Only 31 Orange Z06’s produced for 2018 model year...6 had manual transmission and only 1 had these Spectra Gray wheels!!!

~Ken and Lynn S. Of Gardnerville, Nevada called me up 8 weeks ago as they were referred to me to buy their new Corvette. This past week they picked it up at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY and had an absolute blast in doing so! The red carpet was rolled out and fun was had by all. Ken placed his Corvette order for a 2019 Stingray Convt in Long Beach Red with Kalahari interior, Black top, 2LT Pkg, Auto trans, Performance exhaust and chrome wheels.

~A couple of others left the yard this past week...

A neighbors son bought a new 2018 Charger from me.

A Corvette customer bought a new 2018 Colorado from me yesterday among the dozen Corvette deliveries.

~We learned this week that the 2019 ZR1 will be the Official Indy 500 Pace Car for the Race in May...the 15th time the Corvette has been named to Pace the Indy 500. This time a car (ZR1 with 755HP) has been chosen to Pace the race that actually could win the race!!

~Keith the Corvette Blogger wrote a very nice article on my 40 year career selling Corvettes as last week I reached the milestone of delivering my 4,000th Corvette.

~The Frank Class Corvette throwback and barn find section. Please post up which picture is your favorite.

Have a great week everyone...I will be out of the office the 24th-27th. Look me up at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY.

That was an interesting photo of that fox with its head stuck in the grill of the orange z06. I guess a Mouse or squirrel ran in there and he was chasing it down.

My favorite this week, an easy choice, is the picture of five generations of Vettes at the top of the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca. That was a great weekend for the Corvette crowd. It's hard to believe that was almost 15 years ago. I do have to admit the picture of the Indy ZR1 pacecar is quite distracting. That thing look awesome!
