When I had my 2015 I seriously considered it. Had I not sold it and ordered my 2016 A8 I would have. That M7 is really a close ration 4 speed with 3 overdrive gears in it. I think if you put some 4.56 or 4.11's it would really wake it up, but prolly stil.l be hard to launch with much power.

I don't think there is gearing available yet so no use considering it.

Motive shows they have a 3.90 and 4.10 for the C7 but doesn't specify if it works with the Z06. Are the differentials different between Z06 and non z06?

I called Motive right now and they said it is just a number in the system, part doesn't exist and nothing shows on order to bring them into existence.

Well that's unfortunate. I googled the number and it showed up on other sites too.

There is nothing to consider as they aren't available. A couple companies have been trying to work things out a few years with no luck.

C7 has been out for 5 years. What could be the hold up . The C8 will be out before we get aftermarket gearing options at this rate.

I believe it has to do with the size/space in the Differential. Just not enough room. I highly doubt they come up with anything.

well ladies you are kinda right. you CAN change the gearing just have to do so in the tranny. if you put a z51 tranny or send the z06 tranny to rpm you can change the first three gear sets. and yes it makes all the difference in the world.

Probably not much of a market for it, since one can just buy the A8 instead.
