Surprised it needs Monster nozzles. Surprised it needs any nozzles. That is where I lose interest when the build is dependant on the meth to make the numbers. The meth control kits go bad after a year and leak and who wants to depend on a set like that. Much rather see straight pump gas numbers.

if you want big numbers your not going to do it on stock fuel system. Yes over 750 you need meth or fuel system.

ive never had a alky control go bad on my rides thats why i stick to selling julios kits

Not needing the huge numbers. Where I'm at around 800hp (675 rwhp) and reduced weight is perfect for me. Fill up at the pump and go. PLENTY FAST! Reliable as stock is also important. Above that level stuff breaks anyway and the costs go way up. Be shocking if the 2650 is the same price as the 2300 heartbeat at 5k? Then you need the fuel system to get more power or go cheap add the meth set-up Then what hood will a guy use.
Cutting a hole would kill the hood. I'll leave all that for the others!

If your happy with your 673/635 thats all that matters.

Now lets get back on the topic of making a lot more power for our cars and more options. I really am looking for at least 150 rwhp over my 725/726 my car currently makes. Im at 9.8 psi currently and not spinning blower to hi hell at all on my 1.7

9.8 ?
My stock A8 just made 582 rwhp on 11.21 boost with only a Halltech The 2300 made 12.98 . How do you get only 9.8?
Then I pretty sure that 635 is way low compared to Dyno jet numbers on the TQ side. Extremely happy with the car on the straight 92 pump gas.

The 2650 will be a great choice for those guys wanting the 1000 hp levels. But then again the whipple 2.9 leaves the hood. The hood option is not much from what I've seen. Don't think you can cut a hole in the hood because of the size needed.

Does the 2650 have provisions for port injection also for fuel upgrades?

Boost is restriction nothing more, he has a bigger cam which changes the engine VE. In other words less restriction, the blower is still supplying the same cfm .

3Z has made it repeatedly known that he is happy with his power level and won't do what it takes to play at higher levels. I have E at every street corner and can use it or not. Only use meth at the WOT which in town is not needed regardless of the mods. He sounds like he is trying to justify to himself his own personal limitations. Speed costs money and mods, how fast do want to go. I can't use the 725# TQ I have now but I want more. Just the American way, bigger and faster.
My next go around will be the 2300 or even the 2650 if the fit issues work out. I will do as much as my budget allows at the moment and will be back again at the future. I love guys who push the limit as it gives us all something to shoot for. To tell us repeatedly how happy you are with being "average" does nothing to progress the development of amazing high HP builds.

Who cares what you run Gasser? My 2 Z06's do just fine on pump gas and no band-aids on the weak 1.7 for me. Higher levels? 725 TQ and what HP?
on meth too? That's a laugh! You can spend all you want to on the 1.7 You went the cheap route not me! The 2300 is the better set-up. With out the meth what ]t does it run? oh you have no slips either? I set the goal to make on pump gas and made it happen.
Too bad it bothers you!

i put up dyno numbers on 9.8 psi and also no headers. Same dyno said 565/573 on my escalade and it ran 12.2@114 at 6100 lbs on that.. dyno reads little low but the track mph doesnt lie. Im happy with the superflow numbers...

if you dont want to run meth or better fuels then feel free to stay at your current numbers... like i said if your happy thats all that matters.

Once again you've came into a thread, totally derailing it, that has NOTHING to do with you. But, not unexpectedly, for the umpteenth time you've let us know you have two ZO6's. You are a cancer to this forum.

Oh Personal attacks are OK? Mister panties in a wad!
You didn't notice Jealous GASSER and others coming in with personal attacks jumping on me when they were not in the discussion. You can go find a cliff to jump from it is you that is the cancer with the personal attacks. Now your the one derailing the thread and ruining the discussion.

can you please stop posting in this thread? This is for 2650 info vs 1.7 not the 2.3. You already have a post on your 2.3. If you want to post how happy you are with your sub 700 rwhp 2300 upgrade please do it on that post not here.

once again we all know your happy with your 2.3 so can you just stop now? If you never posted on this thread there would have been no issues

thanks

I'm trying to justify my limitations. Hard to find a post with more BS than this one.
I have installed 2 centri kits and headers on my previous Corvette's.
Installing the 2300 blower and then another 2300 and headers myself while you drive to the shop for your install shows my limitations?

I already have the 2300 and you are still talking about the budget for it! Not adding up or making much sense. The difference is I choose not to add a meth tank to cover-up the lack luster 1.7.

Now 673 rwhp is average? Amazing high horsepower builds!
Just looks like your just jealous I have two Z06's both will have the 2300's soon.

Sure no problem!
No problem for you when your busy posting in my threads in the recent past dishing the information derailing my thread on the 2300.

Thanks!
