$75 to $125 for powder coating is pretty much the norm. I had my CTS-V coupe wheels done. Changed the plain looking nuburgring flat black wheels into galaxy gray.

Love those gray wheels. I never have dug in to the black wheel thing and I absolutely detest chrome. The gray is the perfect mid ground between the aggressive look and a little bit of sparkle to see the shape of the wheel. Nice

Those look nice. Budget $500 for a pro powder coat treatment.

Calipers were silver until I used the Duplicolor red anodized paint. A little high temp clear coat and they stayed sharp looking for over a year that I owned the car.

Did they strip them? Sand blasting can eat the wheel. seems awful cheap
maybe you mean per wheel?

You can Plasti Dip your own for about $50. They are not permanent but they do last more than 6 months. This makes it easy to change color anytime. We did my son’s wheels about 8 months ago and are going to redo them in a different color in a couple of weeks. Easy to do and the overspray peals right off of the tire so you don’t have to dismount them. You can also go back to stock color anytime.

It's usually around $100 a wheel for powder coating. I decided against powder coating since the factory wheels are known to be somewhat fragile and the powder coating process can weaken the metal.

Plasti-Dip has come a long ways and looks really good now. I dipped my factory wheels in bronze for a month or two until I purchased forged wheels. The only down side I've experienced is the Plasti-Dip can peel if you get petroleum based tire shine on it. Other than that I've had Plasti-Dip last 3+ years and still looked great.

That is the point that everyone needs to be aware of, the baking process is not the same with aftermarket powder coating as it is at a genuine wheel factory and CAN potentially weaken the wheels.
Genuine wheel manufacturers prepare the aluminum properly for the powder coating process prior to baking.
You really don't know what you are getting or doing to a wheel when you send it to a powdercoater.

I'd say strip them and have them painted to be safe.
JMO. YMMV.

I had my chrome Z06 wheels powder coated black. I also had them do the center caps and lug nuts. That, with taking the tires off and remounting and balancing was 650. I'm assuming mounting and balancing was around 150 so yeah I was at about 125 a wheel.

I have done paint. I have had them powdered coated. But at 1200-1300 a set new forum price. Then you should get pretty good out of your old ones. I find is it better for me to sell them and buy new.

Wrapping the wheels any color you want seems to be picking up. Check out all the YT vids. I don't know how much it is though...
