Finally have some time to lower my 17 Z06 3LZ/Z07; Does anyone have any recommendation for a modified alignment spec I should tell the shop or just bring it back to factory specs? I frequent the "Snake" in Mountain city TN and or coarse my yearly trip to the "Tail of the Dragon". the car will be lowered about 1/2" from stock height.
what it will be affected with the lowering procedure;
Camber and toe in.

Camber and toe will be affected. Follow the DSC (TPC) alignment instructions for street/track that have been posted on the forum. That includes the rear caster setting. If the shop doesn't know about rear caster or gives you a statement that our machine will measure it be careful. The machines don't measure it and it takes separate tools to measure the rear caster. Rear Caster isn't a common alignment variable and in the history of GM they have only produced 3 models that have a rear caster adjustment the Pontiac Solstice, Saturn Sky and the C7 Corvette. There may be one or two other OEMs that have produced cars with rear caster adjustments sometime in a 100 year history. It is rare. A Chevy dealer may not have the tools but they can borrow them from GM. When they measure the rear caster the mechanic has to hand write the measurement results on the machine printout. If not written there is a good chance it didn't get done.
Again, anybody who tells you their machine measures it is not telling you the truth.
Any idea where to find these instructions?
I did a search and came up empty.
Thanks
