GM could have used the 2300!
Could have /should have /used the 2300 the C7 Z06. The 10-1 compression of the lt4 over the 9-1 used on the LS9
GM should have used the 2300
but they chose to use the 1.7 instead when even the Cadillac used the 1.9. The little 1.7 they used caused a lot of the Z06 trouble.

I've got no beef with the 1.7 and think it does a fine job for what it was intended to do and I don't think it "causes problems" until you attempt to overspin it.
Stock, out of the box, it's a great setup.

They used the 2300 on the C6 ZR1. The higher compression LT4 needs less boost for the same output over the ls9. So they used the smaller blower that still had output for there needs of 650 hp.

I don't think this is accurate. They needed the smaller 1.7L blower to clear pedestrian safety for Europe. With the ZR1 they decided not to sell it in Europe.

Your aftermarket 2300 may have allowed your hood to close, but it would not meet European hood deflection standards for collisions with pedestrians.
Might you consider spending a little less time on your bong, and a little more time doing your homework, since you are such a prolific poster (average of 3.84 posts per day over the last ten years).

Which 2300? The one used on the C6 ZR1, (which is quite a bit taller) or the aftermarket 2300 blowers?

Then this Forum is paid for by the vendors. I buy a lot of parts here and support the vendors.
Name one part you bought here? EVER?

You questioned me that last week in a different thread and I didn't bother with a reply. But now I'm gonna bother. All my Vettes for the last 10 years have been purchased via the supporting dealers. My 08Z, 10 G.S. and 10 ZR1. On Mikes list since February for a ZR1. I say PFFFF. to your 5 grand in parts purchases. We all love ya but it's time to grow up.

My 2006Z06 2008 C6 2009 ZR1 2015 Z06 and 2017 z06 were all bought on the forum. Plus 5 blower kits and 4-5 sets of headers, and wheels and tires. Plus a lot more stuff you no way match my purchases here. PFFF to yourself! Plus I had a couple other Corvettes not bought here!
Great to everyone supporting the forum!

Just one? OK. ECS supercharger setup. Dude, lots of people here have bought parts, modded cars, and owned multiple Vettes, but don't feel the need to brag about it incessantly, like you do.
Geez, what a tool!

All the usuals are on the thread— it’s like a bunch of mean junior high school girls.

No, I mean the "problem" with the 2015 and 2016 cars was a compromised lid to fit the hood, not a problem with the TVS-1740 design or capacity.

No point in bothering, he won't remember anyway.
So in your mind(?), you should be given more of a break when it comes to posting inaccurate information?
