Default Exhaust Setup Help

So here is my delimma, I bought kooks headers and xpipe and the Corsa extreme axle back. I am having second thoughts on voiding my warranty. The Corsa extreme sounds great but I want more. Would you guys say just install the xpipe or just go all out and install the headers too.

is voiding your warranty just that important to having you zee be able to breathe and flow.

How come I keep hearing you can mount the kooks xpipe up to the stock headers but Corsa can. Can the kooks mid pipe be modified?

There are dealership's that install exhausts and headers, talk to your dealership, my dealership has no issue with headers and exhaust systems, there maybe some that do have issues

Is there really a point to headers without a tune to take full advantage of having them.

The Z06 is expensive and complicated enough to repair, that maintaining warranty compliance is the path I have chosen. The stock power is already high enough, that there aren't many situations where one can use all of it, with traction being a major limiting factor.

Unless you are racing.
If you are racing, then no matter what you do, there will always be somebody faster, sooner or later.
What sort of rabbit do you want to chase?

On other generations of Corvettes, my choices have been different.

I always start at the intake. Need the air in before you need to worry about getting it out. JMHO!
Are your headers 2 inch maybe interested if you deside to sell because headers need a tune for best result. I have had it both ways. On header installs have had good gains pretune. Then not so much depends on the car.

Thank you man, You sound just like my wife (not in a bad way) but it all makes sense. I just ordered the Corsa Xpipe to pair with my Corsa Extreme. I have the burger motorsport filter so I'm leaving the car alone after this and will just enjoy the ride.

I actually am interested in selling them. I just had them ceramic coated by Calico Coatings in Denver, NC. I just posted them for sale with the Xpipe for 1700 or best offer. They are 2inch long tubes. I can provide better photos upon request for you as well.
