Default Headers

I have searched the forum and I can't seem to find any information regarding headers. For those of you that have gone to headers have you noticed the car cabin getting hotter than before the install?

Nope - no change.

Heat retention within the engine compartment is going to be your major concern. Efficient extraction is a part of what is needed to maximize performance.

I haven't noticed if anything less. If you think about the massive stock manifolds tied to the forward cats are right in front under you. Coated headers tubes are much less mass giving off less heat passing more helping scavage better. I buy the AR and they have just a set of cats but they a lot are farther downstream than the stock ones. Past the driver seat. I don't feel they run any warmer if anything less heat, less weight, 40 rwhp. gain Better sounds the list goes on.

I’ve run headers on all my Corvettes 2002 c5, 2005 c6, 2008 z06, 2009 Z06 and my current 2016 z06 . Never had an increase in cabin temp

No sir, if worried you can always get them ceramic coated too for extra heat protection or wrap them.

Contact us for headers!
