Looking for 10.30's (NOT).
Car is outfitted with an AFE-1 C.A.I. running the dry 'Low Flow' gray air filter and MT 305/35/18 'stock height' drag radials on China chrome clone 18X12 heavy wheels. On my bath scale the 18" wheel/tire set-up actually weighs "approx." 1 lb. more per wheel/tire than the factory silver painted 20X12 wheel and MPSS run flat. The 11/4/18 slip below is missing a 1.53 60' time that I have done a number of times before on both the stock wheel/tire setup and the drag radial setup (not as many 1.53's on the drag radial set-up) So I may bolt the factory rear tire/wheel 'bald' setup back on for another try next week if the weather is as nice or better than it was today.

nice.Z06s are great.run 10s and have air,,heated and cooled seats, and get 29 mpg if you want.to me there is no better sports car in the world for the money.and so much fun.
Your car is moving C7/Z06 Man for the minor mods you have. Do you guys rent MIR? I'm looking for track rentals there so I can run my car at a great track with great air.
That's a serious time. I remember back in the late 80s or early 90s there was a magazine feature on a street car that ran 10s and it was just a monster on alcohol. Quite a departure!
MIR is a great track and usually with good air late in the season where a lot of records are set. I am in no club, etc. that does track rentals.
However when I had my daily driven air conditioned street (no cage) turbocharged V6 Buick below I found out from a Buick guy I know that they set up a rental at MIR for 10/7/2011 which they let me participate in. I had trouble getting traction on the MT street drag radials but if I came out at ZERO boost (easy) I did get it to hook up a couple of times that day.
