Default Compatible filter or not..

Just had the beast in for an oil change. These guys just P*** me off so much, what a bloody mess the car was, oil dripped all over the fender, greasy hand marks on the hood and doors (wish they would learn how to close the doors)... and spots inside the car as well. (VENT!)

However, my concern is the oil filter they put on it. My previous three changes have all used the 19328339 filter which when I check compatibility it shows that it is the correct one:

2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible 2-Door 6.2L 6162CC 376Cu. In. V8 GAS OHV Supercharged

However this time in they installed the 12679952 which when I check it out shows that this is NOT compatible:

"This part is not compatible with 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible 2-Door 6.2L 6162CC 376Cu. In. V8 GAS OHV Supercharged."

but is compatible with:

This part is compatible with 5 vehicle(s).

2016 Buick Encore Base Sport Utility 4-Door1.4L 1364CC 83Cu. In. l4 GAS DOHC Turbocharged

2016 Buick Encore Convenience Sport Utility 4-Door1.4L 1364CC 83Cu. In. l4 GAS DOHC Turbocharged
2016 Buick Encore Leather Sport Utility 4-Door1.4L 1364CC 83Cu. In. l4 GAS DOHC Turbocharged
2016 Buick Encore Premium Sport Utility 4-Door1.4L 1364CC 83Cu. In. l4 GAS DOHC Turbocharged
2016 Buick Encore Sport Touring Sport Utility 4-Door1.4L 1399CC 85Cu. In. l4 GAS DOHC Turbocharged

Any one have any information about the 12679952 filter to indicate that it is okay for our beasts? Or should I head back to the dealer ASAP and raise some **** about this...

Just one of many oil smears on the car..

I don't think the filter is an issue, but I would not take the car back to that dealer for anything else. If they are that careless with what you can see, imagine what they do underneath where you cannot see.

From what I've been able to determine, it appears the 12679952 filter is the UPF64R where as the previous installs had used the PF64. Guess during the "free" oil changes they use the standard PF64 but when I'm paying for it they "up sell" and install the UPF64R... from what I can tell the UPF64R is slightly better so guess I'll let this ride.

Took a while to track this down. I called several dealers parts departments and they had different part numbers than what are on my work invoices. So I called the servicing dealer parts department and they explained what their two part numbers where. Not sure why their oil filter numbers differed from the other dealers.
