read my above post. If a MAF and MAP are sensing x amount of air coming in, IF the ecu does not tell the fuel system to match it with fuel, then the engine runs lean and explodes.
It does not matter what a tuner WANTS the car to do, physics wins. Run lean, blow up.
Only way to not run lean is to pump extra fuel to meet the needs of the extra incoming o2.
When it is cold, more o2 comes in.

GM really misled the buyers on these cars -- in the end there is so much that it ends up being 650 hp is less then 505 hp ---

There are issues with using a stronger fuel pump. We'd run into one of them when using more powerful pumps in our supercharged C5's. The pump is cooled by the fuel, and the fuel can eventually get so hot that the pump no longer performs properly. Everything would be just fine when the fuel in the tank was cool, but after a couple of hours of driving, you'd get on it, and the fuel pressure would drop like a rock!
With the new larger pump on the Z06 and ZR1, I think GM gets around this by not putting full power to the pump all the time. Only when the computer says it's needed.

now that I have finally explained the problem so ANYONE can follow (even people like the tuner in the southwest united states who always counters me and the other guy in the northwest who loves 2300's who always counters me... and btw... have you noticed how silent they have been this thread?!?!?!)

Interesting. Gm has a conundrum. The complexity of the software , all the sensors and fuel system is too much.
as you have seen from my other threads I am a little disappointed with the performance of the car and poke fun at it. And am considering a magnuson 2300 blower. This would potentially make the problem more apparent and really would not solve much. This is probably why 3z06zr1 wants to move out of his 2015 and into a 2019.

That is how my z06 currently is since they tried to trick me and disable the p228c limp mode... i run 55 fuel line pressure up the tunnel when it is cold out and the in tank pump cant maintain 71psi... and as a result, instead of running rich, my car is lean and runs strong as death fast.
The other day when Roxy said my car is as fast as their zr1, they were not exaggerating.
People on this forum have not yet put 2 and 2 together why a c6z pulls well up top and a c7z does not. Its because the c7z is making choices to limit power and run rich usually. Mine no longer does (as much) it seems.

Some people dont want to void their warranties, and GM's stock tune, with cats, has to run richer than your tuned car with LT headers can run, otherwise their cats melt.

In fact, in other threads, our pack has told you that we believe and agree that your car is faster than a stock 2019 zr1, and GM dropped the ball on that car as well.
If your car is faster than a zr1... and my car is almost as fast as a zr1... that is me agreeing you have the faster car.
Its like those logic word problems they used to give us in second grade math class. Or at least at my school they did.

yes i had to wait all summer to get the code again, thats why i couldnt lemon the car yet genius boy,,, i explained that to you, over the summer. I had to wait until it got cold again.

Before the 2300 and look at the slow 60ft this car puts bus lengths on your lemon easy..
Stock blower with header intake tune. Still plenty of fuel to go past 700 rwhp on the stock fuel!

Something is going on with these cars -- and I think you hit the nail on the head. its all in the tune, gm limiting warranty claims- and managing a supercharger(which is a not so intelligent power adder) and is why 650hp is less then 505hp up top.
You lean out the C7Z06 as Mike's dealer has done dealing with his repeat returns for the 228 code and "his Z06 because of the lean running condition might be more equal to a ZR1" in performance making up the 4 second difference from 0-150mph the ZR1 has.
You do the same to a ZR1 as Mike's dealer has done to his C7Z - and the ZR1 might be closer staying close on the tail of a 720S.

what is the difference between a well driven zr1 and a well driven z06 in the quarter mile? (no, i'm not talking about weaponX Ben's modded zr1, i'm talking stock zr1)
Now lets ask another question, what is the difference between a stock zr1 with manual trans in the quarter mile, and a stock z06 A8 in the quarter mile... assume the guy in the a8 can drive great like you Bob.

but I do have a manual trans stock zr1, and for the life of me I can't seem to keep up consistently with this other guy I know who has an automatic c7z.
My tires just slip and my traction control comes on and while im shifting gears, he is pulling away, and at best, I barely beat him, or we end up tying after I catch back up toward the end, or he just beats me.
What are your experiences in this arena Bob?

I have never been that fast in a quarter mile, if I had that time slip i would talk about it and post it over and over, and over and over....

Truth be told, I think Bob is having a meltdown right now because it is finally dawning on him that the information he told everyone about how a 2300 does not need a fuel system, is not true information, and if a person actually drives their car fast like the OP did, the car runs out of fuel.
I think it is finally dawning on him that his 20,889 posts of telling people about the perks of the 2300 and telling Mike his limp modes are a lie... Were all INCORRECT!!!

well, i think it was you 3zr1z06 Bob accusing me of being Irun, and its a corvette forum documented fact that Irun had a twin turbo lingenfelter car with a tripple in tank RSI fuel pump, making over 850hp at the wheels, documented on video on the dyno... with a big wing on the back... so if I am him Bob, and you were right, then that means i had a 1000hp vette from that angle huh?

You are now apparently trying to change what i said, i actually said the reason my car is quick is because instead of it running rich like stock z06 and stock zr1, it now runs lean (more lean than any sane tuner would tune) but since i am under warranty and it is technically a GM tune still, i don't worry about it.

Just was saying Roxy posted you had 1000 hp Corvette's ? Talk to Roxy not me! Just had my Z06 in 20 degree's at 85 does that count?
