It's not too bad, but even with that small of a pic, I can tell they're not part of the diffuser. I'd personally prefer a diffuser that already had the strakes in it
Our Gen1 diffuser was quite popular, originating the double vaned designed in mid 2014 before it became the thing to do
I had always planned to redo this, but had other projects going on; however, with all of our new products with the ZR1 conversion kits, ZTK wing conversions, and all of the other aero I have coming out for the ZR1, I went ahead and knocked it out anyway! Like our Gen1, it has the tow hook holes too.
Our new ZTX diffuser is the most aggressive I've seen to date and I can't tell you how ecstatic I am to get it on my ZR1. The vanes are true as well, which is one thing every C7 diffuser I have seen to date has failed to do, including our Gen1.

I have a #24 Dupont that I wont sell its just to dam cool, 500 hp, AC, air ride, electronic doors!. Although the Z06 will kick its *** on the road courses! You can see more of them on our shops web site jeffreysautobody.com.
C5Racr1, The idea behind all these rear diffusers is to help move the air out from under the car at speed. The higher the speed the better chance for a pocket of air to develop under the car. It is optimum for the chassis to squat or collapse at speed especially for corner entries. Unfortunately for street cars its not that easy to pan the cars underside very well which helps move air as well. The million dollar question which one works best and which are for looks only?
I saw these this past weekend at a car show, pretty sure they're katech. In pics i thought the Katech were going to be too "racecar" for me, but they looked great in person on this car
This is what the real thing looks like. Older picture but there was one very similar shown with the C7.R on a trailer at the Roar before the 24. It was posted yesterday. Would not want this on my car but there is obviously a lot of thought in the design and I suspect much wind tunnel time.
