2019 Z06 fart / burble on decel

Yes. 9900 miles on the 18 and 5 track days. 4800 on the 19 no track days yet. The 19 is different, but I shouldn’t say it is the tune. Maybe just manufacturing tolerances.

Why exactly?? You feel the car more responsive? I know 19's have few updates, rear control arm, fuel , tranny, rear diff gears, cooling and few others stuff. But i dont expect my 19 to act different compared to my 15. But its cool if you could feel a difference!! Dont mind explain how exactly it does feel different??

Also that guy has an aftermarket xpipe, so it's not the stock xpipe.
So i think it's an auto thing.

My 2015 Z06 did not burble & crack on deceleration, but my ZR1 does (but not as drastic as the one in the video)

that gurgle pop is the exhaust. Right before you can hear that he downshifts in manual mode. Once the rpms drop after initial downshift rev, the gurgle and pop happens. I can do it on command every time anytime. I guess it is an auto A8 thing as well as the way the A8 is tuned.

I agree with the others, it's an A8 thing. My '18 M7 Z07 doesn't do it. Rev match gives me a bit of noise on downshifts but that of course isn't the same as the burbling/crackling exhaust sounds in the video clips above.

I had a 2011 Camaro SS with a corsa exhaust with a m6 which cracked and burbled like a champion when declerating. I loved how that sounded and it was the one thing I noticed on my Z that it didn't do. I was and still am a bit disappointed that it doesn't. Don't get me wrong the exhaust in track mode sounds bad *** and I love it but when I take my foot off the throttle I expected to hear what my SS sounded like. I know if I changed out the exhaust I would probably get it back but probably not gonna do that. I like the npp.
Edit... I have a15 Callaway Z06. M7

My old C6GS with long tubes, no cats and a borla axleback was crackle and pop galore at any RPM on decel. I missed that so much.
I don't really mind too much now because the trade off is a more exotic sound, to go with the exotic looks of this generation, but it would be cool to get that back. But i guess it's all in the tune.

My ‘15 Z07 M7 doesn’t do this with xpipe, tb, intake, pulley and a tune. I even asked my tuner to try and engineer pops with added fuel on decel and it didn’t help to make it pop.
Has anybody had any luck getting pops after adding headers? Or after a cam?

My 2019 Z06 M7 does make some of these noises, as others have mentioned with the rev match turned on. It's a great toy to play with coming up to traffic lights, just to hear the sound. I had one nice loud one today too as it was burbling down. Not so much with a warmed up engine and idling and just revving it some, but you don't get really into the higher rpms for the dropoff like you might with rev match or accelerating hard in gear and then letting it slow down again in gear that seem to make those lovely noises.....gotta put a GoPro back there sometime and record some of them!
