They are juveniles so will get a slap on the wrist. The parents probably don't have a pot to **** in, so you can't bleed a stone. So, insurance will cover the damage, leading to increase rates for you and I. God Bless America..

I think all the kids should have to work for Carmax washing cars until the damage is paid for.

Washing cars is going to cover the cost of this? What are they going to do, wash cars until they are 90 years old?

Washing cars isn't going to teach these hoodlums anything. The news report said that the police were already familiar with 2 out of the 4 of them prior to this incident.

They will think REAL HARD before they do something like that again. At least for two or three summers.

Little Johnny is a good kid, he’s just misunderstood. Society has failed him, yada yada! B/S! Send them to jail and make the parents pay up!

Should lock them up in a juvenile facility and then when they turn 18 let them spend a few more years in prison.

Kids have always done stupid things the problem here is that they got to do a lot more damage than they usually can. When I was a kid I did stupid stuff too. These kids should have to make some sort of restitution to the insurance company, and most likely the parents will be the ones on the hook for that. Putting these kids in jail would be stupid....just cost us the money to feed and house them and they get a first class education in real crime. When ever possible the best solution is keep the kids out of prison, unless they are violent. Property damage is not worth the cost of creating a true criminal or the expense of jailing them.

Are you serious???? Keep coddling these criminals and we'll be reading about them in the not-to-distant future. Only it will be a lot more serious.
