Halltech Stinger RZ vs. the competition
First of all, we are not connected to DMS in any way. We heard about them through one of our dealers, Texas Speed. They did a comparative dyno test on the stock C7 Z06 intake, and a couple other combinations. Our Agapostemon Bee Filter (Green Bee) was used on the final pull. Check out their numbers.
All of our Stinger RZs will ship with this new filter starting next week 2-15-19. We will have 100 filters in stock, but they will go fast. Introductory Price: $60.00 (filter upgrade) Sting the competition HERE
You can purchase our Stinger RZ in carbon fiber (backordered 2 weeks) or our Stinger RAZ with our TRIC RAm Air System.
Halltech Stinger RZ Carbon CFV:
Halltech Stinger RAZ Ram Air System (now with Female Agapostemon Bee)
FEMALE AGAPOSTEMON BEE:

From what I read here, each setup was tuned to 'match'. Well I think most buyers would want to know which one makes the most HP out of the box/un-tuned.
If a CAI comes with more than one filter than it should be checked against the other to see which one makes more. From their pic above it looks like they used AFE's "low flow" gray/white air filter. Located at the far end (makes the filter look smaller) of the bench on the left.

50 rwhp
We have dozens of dynos done by shops, some our dealers and other shops unknown. 50 RWHP has been the norm without tuning. The one above was done with our Stinger RAZ (ram air system for the Z06) 70 RWHP, with NO TUNING
We dial in air fuel ratios with our MAF read area correction.

FWIW-i went 9.84 with the AFE but have now switched over to the Halltech.

When I got my Z I installed the AFE with the dry filter ( low flow ) and the Borla X and picked up 60 rwhp. We did the same mods to a friends Z but used the AFE wet filter and only gained 20. It was weird but the car didn't like the wet filter.

Let us know how the Halltech works out. Oh, and what non-OEM mods (wheels, tires, etc.) do you have 'now' after the Halltech installation?

Wet filter; we have never seen a problem with oil and MAF sensors in 25 years. Wives tale. K&N did research on this many years ago testing supposed bad MAF sensors from their filters and in every case there were other issues with the sensor, totally unrelated to the oil. Water, on the other hand, will cause the MAF sensor to hiccup until the filter dries out.
Our dry filter loses major RWHP to our K&N high flow, and it loses to the Agapostemon Filter big time on an independent dyno test above.
We have over 90 of these in stock for anyone wishing to upgrade. https://www.halltechsystems.com/product-p/aga-608.htm
