Default Aftermarket Carbon Fiber hoods ????????

I have had the misfortune of now needing a new hood on my car. Before I replace the factory one as GM is very Proud of their Carbon fiber Hood I was looking to install an aftermarket Carbon Fiber hood. Has anyone had experience with this that can recommend a company that has a high level of quality and fitment.

I did this on my 2011 Grand Sport and it was a disaster. Maybe they have gotten better quality now. IDK Even the high dollar ones didn't fit well at all. I spent big bucks paying different body shops that thought they could make it better, but it just didn't happen.

I saw one from LG in person a few months ago. The design looks awesome. The fitment...not so much.

ACS has a few hood options. Don't have any direct experience with their hoods, but I have their heat extractors in my hood and am VERY impressed with the fitment. If they can make those fit the OEM hood, then I'm confident they can make a full hood replacement that fits well. Also have a few of their other items and they also fit well.

Weapon X sells some really nice quality CF products and the weave is the same pattern as GM factory CF.

What was the fitment issue? I haven't noticed any issues on the ones we've installed.

How is the weight of this hood compared to stock? Do you have any under hood pictures? Any fitment issues with the magnuson 2650 chargers?

I’m friends on IG with a guy that has it and it’s badass looking. I asked him about it and he swears by it. I like this one also as I cut my hood to fit a bigass turbo but will change back later in the year.
