Very nice. What size are the wheels and tires ? Are the wheels factory offsets?

First time Ive read where a C7 (or C6) used a smaller dia wheel in the rear than front ????

My SIGNATURE SV501's are:

19x10.5 front with 295/30
19x12.5 rear with 345/30

2012 GrandSport

It’s very common in the C7 world given that going 18s in the rear opens up the options in the rubber you can choose.

the thicker sidewall of the tire looks good much better then the stock super low profile ring

I would also imagine the car gets much better traction.

Thanks man.. yeah... I’m a fan of functionality more than the rubber bands people put on and totally not have any traction. Plus IMO there is a balance of wheel/tire in the back that will give you the handling and traction at the same time and this works best for me in both of those aspects. Just simply going the biggest possible wheel (in diameter) is what people that don’t understand the purpose of A Z06 or any sports car for that matter do.

Traction wise... she hooks everything she got in 1st. Please keep in mind my Z06 bear stock and only puts down about 585whp. Given the way the car is... I think she will comfortably put down another 100whp before getting into traction issues with this size sidewall and power delivery characteristics. This same tire hooks all 1K whp in my supra.

i am betting the tire and wheel combo alone is the best performance mod for the dollar you can make. Probably makes the car much more enjoyable. With the stock rubber bands my car feels like I am driving on grease.

Because of the brushed color, it really needs to be seen in person.

i keep telling people.. if you can hook with this car you’ll be much faster.... don’t go adding power and spin more and complain the car is slow. Lots of new people that know nothing about cars were introduced to sports cars via the C7 generation. It’s really funny when I see someone post they’ve never seen a vette run smaller rim in the back.
