Default Bummer

Just now starting to be decent weather in Oklahoma and I had to have rotator cuff surgery today. This is going to curtail my driving of my 2019 Z06 for the six weeks I have to wear my sling. They gave me hydrocodone for pain. Took fist dose at 9pm and evidently I am one of the few that experiences insomnia with it. Oh well I guess I can go read the Z06 and General Discussion forums again.

Tough surgery, good luck with your recovery. I’m also one that pain killers keep me awake and make itch. I don’t take them unless I really need them.

Follow the rehab program to the letter for a faster recovery. Did you get a “Game-Ready” unit? It circulates cold water with a little pressure around your shoulder. Really helps with recovery.

Wish you the best! When I have used opioids (rarely), they always caused me to have very odd & vivid dreams. YIKES!

Yes, had one from previous knee replacement. Start PT on Wednesday which is definitely a game changer.

That’s just sad.... Hopefully, you will heal quickly and be able to enjoy those twisty roads in NE Oklahoma soon!

Good luck, hope things go well for you. I have had rotator repairs on both shoulders, pain free now!

Wishing you a speedy recovery. I have hardware in my right shoulder, Bankart lesion surgery. My shoulder was very loose never been the same. Lost about 40% range of motion.. found out years later my bankart surgery was the first for my doctor.

Had my L rotator done in 2013. Stay with your regimen and it'll heal faster. Good Luck with new Z. Now you have time to customize the millions of settings. LOL!
