How accurate is the dash timer? The best 0 to 60 I could get on the street with drag radials was 3.1 in my A8. It kind of has a little dip or bog at first. Tires are 27 inch ET Street R.
Really just questioning accuracy and would have loved to get the 2.9 GM claims. Will the ported TB throw any engine codes? And will it get rid of dip without a tune? Don’t want to void warranty. Thanks

A ported TB does not require a tune. Voiding warranty on the other hand is subjective. Basically any aftermarket changes you do to the car to improve performance (outside of a catback system or any GM performance parts) could void warranty.
Ported TB definitely doesn't need a tune to give results. Did it to my A8 and no bog whatsoever. Seek out Tony Mamo on this forum and he will solve your problem.

You can get 2.9 with Cup tires for sure. If you have SS's, lower your rear tire pressure to 30psi, and keep trying.
Not quite sure 0-60 in a 55 without a house in site is a major crime. I’m sure the world appreciates your concern! #troll
thank you.on every forum wether, guns, motorcycles, sports cars their is always some better than thou double standard person who makes comments like the one he did.
You are doing 125? You published it with the speed clearly visible. Would you be shocked if the cops showed up at your door? That never happened.... That’s not a troll that’s someone pointing out flawed thinking.
