My first visit to Sebring last weekend video added
Went to Sebring for the first this past Saturday. My 19Z is a beast. Had a fantastic time. Had a pit next to a great guy with a Z51, as well as met 2 other 19Z owners. My instructor also says he had a C7Z at home, he was running a C5Z on the track.
I learned a lot. This was about my 10th track day ever, I just started last year in a GS. Sebring was easily the most difficult track I’ve been on. The track is crazy bumpy, but my non Z07 with Cup 2s sucked up the bumps without any problems. The car positively launched out of turn 7 in 2nd gear, accelerating across the rumble strips with ease. Track was brutal on the brakes though. 7 braking zones per lap, with 3 especially tough ones.
Lots of Porsche’s there, including 4 or 5 Cup cars in the advanced group. Absolutely amazing cars, complete with pit crews.
The GT3s, GT3 RS, and Cayman and GT4s in my group were very friendly - they always seemed to be waving
Overall, a great experience. I’m going back in a couple weeks, can’t wait.
Some lap data and temps of my car below. Still working on a loading a PDR video.

Here's a vid of a full session. Jump ahead at least 5 minutes at the beginning, I'm not much for video editing. Best lap starts at about 15:10.
