MRC update

Do all the 2019's come with the new MRC update? Mine is a very low VIN (0033) ZO6 - 2019. I remember someone posting how to check the build sheet I think, but I can't find the post. The reason I ask is sometimes a low VIN number is so close to the prior year equipment change over and may not get put in for production reasons. Ex: My headrests don't have the ZO6 embossing. No big deal and doesn't matter to me, but the MRC update would.

ALL 2019 model year cars have the upgraded software. They basically took the superior 2019 software and back-ported it to the 14-18 cars.

So your saying there would be a update for my 15 Z06?

Yes, that was one of the first upgrades listed. I had the upgrade installed in my 15 Z06 as soon as it was available last year. Here is a pdf file from December 2017 telling you what cars the upgrade was available for at that time. Watch the video tagged at the bottom of the document. Unless you have special suspension modifications for the track make sure you install the complete package which includes track calibrations. The street only calibrations are only for people who have done some track suspension mods (not a lot).

Bill is there a more current update? Have a 17 Z with Z07 and thought I seen somewhere an update was available. Wanted to do it now that summer is finally here.

You can update your 2017 at the dealership. The update wasn't included in full from the factory until 2019 (the 2018 got a partial update from the factory).

No. The upgrades are all set for each MRC version of the car up through the 2018 models. The one I had installed in my car last year is the same one a 15 Z06 gets this year.
