Default 2017 Z07 at Vengeance

I dropped off my 2017 Z07 at Vengeance Racing yesterday for some bolt on's that will be completed next week. This is going to be a relatively mild bolt on deal, Kong full port LT4 blower, NW 103mm TB, Halltech Stinger CAI, MM Catch Can, Billy Boat Headers and Catted X-Pipe, 18% IW lower, Engine and Trans Tune. I am hoping to get in the 650 range, which I feel is a pretty realistic goal. I have debated back and forth on a Stage II or III cam kit and matched Circle D converter, but I think I am going to hold off on those mods for a while to see how the current mods go. If I do end up going the cam route later this summer, I am torn between the Stage II and III cam and the driveability differences between the two. I am looking for some feedback on real world experiences between these two LT4 cams in combination with what I am currently doing with bolt on's. Thoughts?

With those parts/mods 650 easy. Add a flex fuel, if ethanol is an option, and you could hit close to 700. I was a 675 without a ported blower but running E/meth.

I'll add the flex fuel sensor and aux fuel when/if I do the cam. I am not wanting to do Meth.

Well.....Vengeance got done with my Z06 and the hp was a little less that I would have figured (636 rwhp), but the torque curve is really nice (703 tq). The 700+ tq should make it a blast to drive on the street!! It was also dyno'd in 5th gear because it's a Z06 (A8) car. I have not driven the car yet, so I have no idea how it drives compared to pre mods. We ended up having go with a set of Kooks 2" headers and off road X pipe because the Billy Boat headers didn't even come close to fitting at the flanges. 3 of the 5 bolt holes on both flanges were not even close to lining with the header bolt holes in the heads. More on that fiasco later, as I try to get that issue resolved. Next up will be cam, converter, Aux low side and flex fuel setup in August. I would guess that would get me around the 700 range, which is all I want out of this car.

I also own a 17 Z that was built at Vengeance. Mine is their stage 3 package with a throttle body. It did 715whp on their dyno. Mine is a manual. No meth, no fuel system, no porting.

i wish they were closer to me so I could do a bit more, but it’s fast as heck now. Recently upgraded to the R888r’s which was a huge upgrade.

Which cam did you go with? Stage II or Stage III? I have an appointment for August for the cam and converter upgrade, but I am debating on which cam to go with. I have the Stage III in my 2018 Camaro SS 1 LE and I love it. Just don't know how it will be in the Z06.

I’m not positive on the cam, as previous owner did it. But I would think stage 3?

Did they put a converter in it? If not, it's not a Stage III cam.
