Default Exhaust setting question

I have my Exhaust and Steering set through the menu's I don't have it set to auto so it changes when you change mode. At a HPDE day I got black flagged for sound twice. The limit is 75db and I was at or near it. That was with the exhaust in track mode.
If I change it to Sport mode is there an appreciable difference in sound at WOT? I am thinking not. I think the next setting is tour, what would that be like? I have honestly never ran with it in tour. What would that do to the performance?

I tried shifting up which is no fun at all.

No matter what setting for exhaust when you are foot to the floor, it opens the baffles and it’s loud. The only way to get around it is to ***** foot the gas pedal

I am not sure but I think you would even have the problem with the exhaust set in Stealth Mode. Once you are wide open with rpms building toward 5K or what ever rpm requires more exhaust flow than the closed system can provide at wide open throttle the valves will open. I suspect they will definitely be open at wide open throttle at rpms above 5K.

That is why some people have developed turn downs or exhaust deflectors to attach to the exhaust system so the noise is directed away from the sound sensors.

Another solution might be some circuitry designed to switch in a pulsed voltage when the exhaust controller stops sending a voltage to the valves. The circuitry could be activated with a switch. With the switch open the exhaust works normally and when closed the special circuit controls the valves not the exhaust controller.

If somebody got fancy enough they could tie the circuit into a cell phone with a blue tooth connection along with an App that would use a cell phones access to GPS signals to open and close the valves as you go round the track. Enter the start and end locations where you want the valves closed and the circuit could work at any track.

Yes it’s true that in stealth at a certain rpm the valves open. I’d be very Leary about overriding the circuitry to keep the valves closed. You start doing that type of stuff while hammering the car that’s not something I’d do.

I’d find a new track first.
