Default 2019 Z06 track alignment changes

Looks like we no longer remove washers to go from street to track. See instructions at link. Has anyone with a 2019 made the adjustment to -2 at all four corners? I am wondering if we can add washers to go back to street from the track setting?

Well, not answering your question, but I removed the existing washer as well from my '19 Z06 (replaced them with thin shim), and hit -2.7 max camber on one side (the other side could have more). Later, dropping front height by 7mm allowed me to hit -3 camber on both sides.

Depending on what kind of tires you use, -3 / -2 F/R seems to perform better.

I forgot your build thread dealt with a 2019. I will go back and check that out.

I thought it was interesting that the GM instructions from 2017 to 2019 changed. Here is the 2017 instructions...remove front washers as compared to 2019...don't remove washers.

Yeah I think these cars came with only one set of washers for a while, now. Looks like the track prep doc has finally caught up to it : )

Weird that they would say different for z06 and GS models when they have the same damn suspension..

I believe this is the case.

And to Bruno, I have heard some very strange rumors that the grand sport and zr1 are the same, but they are different than the z06, they are done differently than the z06 in certain ways.

I literally argued with the person who told me this, and the person is closer connected to GM than I am, but they were very adamant. It did not make sense to me, and I could not get an answer out of him why GM would do things differently on the grand sport vs the zo6. The conversation was about the suspension and its specific tune.

Well 1 thing is not a rumor. The zr1 shocks are the normal shocks. Not the z07 shocks.

In any case. All c7s have the same control arms and suspension travel (not the the extreme compression a base model may see). And their static heights aren't that different.

My z51 didn't require any front washers to be removed stock or with Z06 springs to attain those camber numbers. Def required 1 removed on the rear.

They tuned (developed) ZR1 suspension in 2017 per the related ask Tadge thread. At the time, they have come up with a much better MRC tune, and ended up using a part of the same new calibrations on 2017+ GS and Z06 as well. Since 2015/2016 did not have these calibrations, GS was tuned more similar to ZR1 than Z06, at least for those built in those years. Could this be what they're alluding to?

I've also heard they used one shock for all ZR1s unlike Z06/Z07.

In any case, as you know, the tunes are all up to date and similar for 2019 of all Z06/ZR1/GS, or if you get it updated for $350 at the dealer.

Are ZR1 shocks same part number as FE6 shocks?

The Feb 2016 TSB (TSB #16-NA-056) telling how to do the track alignment did have different instructions about removing the spacers on the Z51 and Z06. For the Z51 the instructions said to remove one spacer from behind the dog bones on the front and rear UCAs. For the Z06 it said to remove one spacer from behind the dogbones on the front UCAs. When I looked at my 15 Z06 it had two spacers behind the front UCA dog bones and only one spacer behind the rear UCA dog bones. Supposedly Z51s came with two spacers between the dog bones and the frame. I always suspected they wanted a minimum of one spacer between the dog bones and the aluminum frame.
