Anyone know the red eye's 60 to 130mph? is it faster than 7.9 ?!
Red eye only comes in coupe for now right? No sedan?
From exterior how do you tell that it's a red eye?

Exactly.... I mean a regular Hellcat traps within 2-3 mph as a C7Z, and more then a few I have seen the Hellcat trap damn near the same as a C7Z...depending on who is better at managing the heat at the track. A Red Eye is roughly 90 rwhp more.....I've seen a few Red Eyes dyno 700-715 rwhp… depending on the dyno/conditions/temps...
Honestly, I'd say a Red Eye is faster then a stock C7Z period....and damn sure faster after a couple back to back pulls.

Redeye runs exactly like it should. Like a bolt on hellcat. Instead if putting 6 or 8 cars on it from 60 to over 130 it's a car length for an A8 stock but with a driver that knows how to push the shifter back into drive once you start the pull and doesnt think the putdmart the Paddles cause you can't.
Interesting to see 1/2 mile runs with a stock redeye. It should out mph a stage III Z06 I think a stage III would be right there with it maybe neck and neck either way. That's my real world experience.
And the comment about back to back is an interesting one. You would think the car slows after a couple pulls. I think if you make a pull and go sit in the lanes for a while the heat soak gets it. But back to back and running like at a rental we have not experienced that with stock or modded Z06s.

But for 2020 they're going to have the widebody chargers and challengers for the hellcats and i think the red eye charger is coming in 2020 or 2021 too with a slight refresh, along with the widebody.
How can you tell if the challenger is a red eye? The fender flares. And of course, the "red eyes" in the hellcat emblem lol.
That means, don't mess with it, it might hurt feelings

I've run my buddy's. Guy can drive. Has 2 hellcats one runs 9. 30s at almost 150 full weight.
Redeye runs exactly like it should. Like a bolt on hellcat. Instead if putting 6 or 8 cars on it from 60 to over 130 it's a car length for an A8 stock but with a driver that knows how to push the shifter back into drive once you start the pull and doesnt think the putdmart the Paddles cause you can't.
Interesting to see 1/2 mile runs with a stock redeye. It should out mph a stage III Z06 I think a stage III would be right there with it maybe neck and neck either way. That's my real world experience.

About what a C7Z with a CAI will run in good air with a good cool down. So on paper, the Red Eye will give a stock C7Z fits from a roll, especially after 125 mph when the A8 C7Z rolls over and dies.
My only other personal experience running against a Hellcat was my buddy's Hellcat Charger. His ran 11.teens@123 bone stock, he was a heavy guy too so that hurt it some. From a 45 roll against my C7Z when I only had a CAI, I had maybe 5-6 car lengths on him from 45-120 ish.

Yeah exactly...you know how it is, anything goes with this stuff. If either driver in either car is not 100% proficient in driving the car to get the max out of it, it could definitely skew the results. Nothing surprises me with this roll racing stuff. I've seen stock HellCats (regular 707hp) beat M7 C7Zs because the Z owner shifted sloppy.
Looking into this a bit, I have seen the Hellcat Red Eyes seem to be all over the map as far as performance...(MUCH like C7Zs)… Average trap speeds for a Red Eye seem to be around 130-131 mph..... Hellcat's are too heavy and absolutely do not hang with th C7Z (A8s) just my personal experience as well as what a Redeye can do against the Z06 at least from a 50 roll.. great cars no doubt but HUGE and HEAVY...
PS. this guy went and had his HUracan tuned because he couldn't beat a Stock C7Z driven properly and after that tune? he still couldn't lol.... these cars are insane for what they cost and can do to supercars.. stock and most definitely modded. Procharge one and they'll walk a 720.. and that's not an easy feat..
