Default Looking for photos of Michelin A/S 3+ Mounted on their Z

Just curious how these tires look on the Z06. I know they haven’t been out that long yet. I know they’re cheaper then the PSS and offers less noises on the road. Photos would do some justice for me if possible. Thanks!

These tires are great although definitely not as sticky as the MPSSs.

Noise is actually pretty strong. I have them on my Z and it's definitely louder than my previous z51 on nonZP super sports. Honestly I couldn't tell they were AS3+ at first. They look the same from 2 ft+ away. I bought the car used and they look brand new. They damn near dead hook at 40 to 60 mph pulls . Very surprising.

A/B pics. i bought a Z06 which the dealer's buyer ordered with the LPO dealer-installed wheels on the Chevy Build a Vette website. Delighted they also came with the original wheels, saved me the purchase of wheel insurance since i have backups. Put the AS 3+'s on the original wheels. from several feet away, can't tell the diff. except that when i took the cup 2 tires/wheels to put into storage, i popped over 100 stone chips, metal pieces and glass off a set of tires that had only been on the vette for 1200 miles! your undercarriage will also thank you for changing to AS 3+'s as they don't throw stones. (did the same on the z51 i traded in on this vette, so already loved them.) A/S 3+'s are the tires that should be standard equipment on vettes.

Don't think you're gonna see anything different... They have the same square shoulder and profile as the MPSS's. I have em and love em....

I ordered these over the Memorial Day sale at Discount Tire. Got them on yesterday and love them. The Ackerman issue I had with the Cup 2s is gone. Now there is no issue with cold weather or a wet road. As for traction I don’t believe there will be any issue on the street.

There was a great video from the Corvette people at GM who tested the A/S 3+. The conclusion was the all-season provide about 95% of the performance of the MPSS; where the A/S aren't as good is when you're pushing the upper limits of the tire, which many won't do on the street.

I just swapped back to my MPSS from 6 months of driving on the A/S 3+ and am finding I have to be gentler on the throttle with my "stickier" tires. Until they are nice & warm, they seem to break loose easier when rolling onto the throttle in 1st, 2nd & 3rd gear. I'm now seeing why so many people swap to the A/S 3+ permanently.

I think the only place the Summer tires excel is at the track. I don’t think you can push any of them to their limits on the street.

Problem for me is our size only comes in ZP and I don’t like run flats. The non run flat doesn’t come in our sizes. And the others aren’t Y speed rated

What’s the issue with run flats? I have the Z07 option and run in Sport mode a majority of the time. The ride is great for a sports car.
