Launching help

Hey guys going to the drags next week need help launching the car in what mode? I have bolt ons and a tune with 315 18s hoosiers also 8 speed. Do I launch it on your, sport, track? Thanks

I put mine in track mode, then sport 1, I believe. Push brake hard and then floor throttle. RPM should stabilize around 2000.

Do yourself a favor and just leave the car in Sport and turn off traction control. Heat up the DR's by going into manual mode and going into first gear. Blip the throttle and quickly paddle to second while doing your burnout. Hold it until you start to see white smoke. No need to go crazy but you do need heat. Ease off of the brake and ride it out until you hear the squeak. Put the car back into "D" and stage the car. Left foot on the brake and hover your right foot over the accelerator. Launch from idle! I have probably 200 passes on my 15 C7Z (A8) and it works very well. I'm not the fastest guy out there but I am able to get consistent 1.46 60's at several different tracks and I have these same tires. Have fun! These cars are a riot.

Spot on from what 1Quick Z mentions.

Mine will also 60 ft. from 1.46 to 1.50 depending on the track prep.

I'm running the M/T 325/35R18 ET Street R though.
