Default Titanium X-pipe

LHT Performance will be making a short run of Titanium X pipes for C7 Z06/ZR1. They did one last year and tested it with the other X pipes available at the time (Corsa, Borla, and stock X).

This X pipe will be fully titanium 3" mandrel bend and weights 8 lbs. with a hefty price point (I emailed them about it a few weeks ago they are thinking $2500.00 or so for one). Would love to get one for my ZR1 but too rich for me at the moment...……………….maybe a used one down the road if it's more decently priced.

there is no chance that I would pay 2500 for an X-pipe when I paid like 350 for my Borla X-pipe

Default A fool and his money are soon departed.

Got to be off your rocker to pay that coin for an Xpipe. I picked up an Akrapovic titanium one on the CF for $700. I realize a mans gotta eat but this is straight up price gouge IMO.

Have had two Borlas. The pipe could be of cast iron & I wouldn’t care if it sounded good. I don’t track but still don’t get the “wanna save” X # of lbs for street driving for sure. Titanium is not a miracle metal, just lighter & probably will last forever but with a consumable product (car) who really needs it to last forever. But as some forget, your money, your choice.👍

Well, they are making apparently 15 of them and already have a list of people committed to purchasing them by putting a deposit down.

Yes, the price is pretty steep but it is made from titanium and much lighter than T304 stainless or regular steel material. Some people do want to go all out with making their cars lighter and making more power so the price is the price...…………………...gotta pay to play.

Most here wouldn't have a problem paying $2k or more for CF splitters/spoilers etc etc no different than this.

They made a great video, very informative. The Borla X-pipe picked up 21 hp /13 torque. That’s unreal for $400. Awesome bang for the buck. $2100 more for titanium seems like a lot.
